Amazing Peonies

Day 4 of Sneak Peeks - If you have not tried the A Muse Studio Spray Splash! you really are missing out on a great product to use in your papercrafting.  Splash is pigment ink in liquid form that you can use in many different ways: spraying, drop application, painting, and even stamping!  It can be watered down with water when painting and the opacity is each to control.

I used the Neon Pink Spray Splash ink to create the background and then stamped the solid Pretty Peony stamp from the Pretty Peonies set using Versafine Onyx Black.  The sentiment is from the Hand Scripted set and the tag is from Vintage Labels 2 set.  To finish it off some Onyx Black twine and voila!

It's Neon Time

Time for a sneak peek with NEON!  I love the new neon Ink, Washi tape and Splash!  The new neon colors are Orange, Pink and Yellow.   The colors are fabulous and are really bright which unfortunately does not come out looking as bright when taking pictures.

I stamped the paper flowers with the neon ink using the Peppermint Swirl stamp.  Each flower has a Clear Twinkle Sticker in the center.  I cut strips of the Neon Washi tape to make the flags, which is so easy to do and really make the card pop!  The sentiment in from the Eat Cake set that was from the Hostess Incentive earlier this year.  You can easily substitute any large sentiment to get the same look.

You will want to add the new Neon products to your must-have A Muse Studio list!

Another Ghostly Sneak Peek

It is time for another sneak peek of a card made with the new Happy Haunting and Peppermint Swirl stamp sets.  I also used the Happy Haunting coordinating die set along with the What's Up? die for the sentiment.  The Peppermint Swirl background is so cool!  And it has so many uses (stay tuned for another posting....).
What do you think?  Will you be adding the Happy Haunting and Peppermint Swirl sets to your wish list?  Remember, ordering starts August 15th!   I can assist you with questions or if you need ordering assistance, please feel free to contact me.

Sneak Peek - Happy Haunting

Have you seen many sneak peeks at products from the soon-to-be-released 2013 A Muse Studio Holiday Catalog?  I love what I have seen so far and CANNOT wait to see it all on August 1st when the PDF version comes out!

So for my sneak peek... How about those Ghosts from the Happy Haunting set and the new Peppermint Swirl background?   What about the new neon inks?  I used the neon yellow in the center of the swirl to make it seem like you were either being sucked in or the ghosts where coming out.  The sentiment bubble is from the What's Up? die set and it goes perfectly with the sentiments from the Happy Haunting set.  The lower sentiment is a die cut from the Word Windows die set, inked up with more neon yellow.  You are going to L-O-V-E the new neon colors!!!  I am going to be working with the new Spray Splash inks and will post a sneak peek soon.

Enjoy the peeks!

Washi Tape Project

Today I was poking around Pinterest, one of my favor ways to spend copious amounts of time!  I mainly pin cards that I love and a good share of DYIs, recipes, Copic hints and places to visit.  Unfortunately I rarely am able to make most of the projects that I have pinned but I am safe in knowing that when the time and inclination hit, I can always make something from something I have pinned.

Today was such a day!  We are a family of iPhone users and we are always asking 'Who has my charger?' or 'Is this my charger?'.  Now no more!  I saw this great pin on using Washi tape and altering the charger to be sure no guy in my house will claim it for their own!  Check out my pimped out iPhone charger!  Isn't it SWEEET!

I used A Muse Studio Washi tape and one of them is BRAND NEW, from the hot new Neon collection!  The new neon colors are GORGEOUS and will be available starting August 15th.

Summer Cards

This summer has been a brutally hot one for us here in New England.  I hate to complain when it was not all that long ago when we were complaining about how cold it was and how there was so much snow!  But we New Englanders love our weather.  It is a love-hate relationship!

My Summer Cards Workshop was last week and it was so much fun to have my group make some super cute and FAST cards.  Two of them were designed by fellow A Muse Studio Consultant Melissa Roell.  She is super talented!  Thanks so much Melissa!  My group loved her cards.  This cards feature many of the A Muse Studio stamp sets that are featured in this month's Spotlight

Isn't this card sweet and super fast!  I used the Fiskars Wave punch to make the ocean waves, punching the Navy cardstock in two different directions to get a rolling seas effect.  I also love the white on white layering.

The card below features the Sea Shells and Life's A Breeze stamp sets.  I absolutely love this set!  I am a total sea loving girl and my favorite thing to do when I am at the beach is to comb the sand looking for sea shells, Sand dollars are my thing!  I have quite a collection with the smallest one the size of a pencil eraser.  The picture does not show it so well but I made a nautical knot with the Navy Baker's Cord for a special touch.  They are quite easy to make too!
A Warm Hello - Card Design by A Muse Studio

Another fabulous design by Melissa Roell.  It came together so quickly and these cards make a great stationery set!  The sails on the sailboat were stamped on the Cherry Petite Polkadot paper and trimmed to add dimension to the sailboat.  It is a great color combination with the Ocean and Cherry cardstock.

I love the Lots of Dots stamp set!  For this card I enlisted two of the background image sets of the Mesh Background and Darling Dots.  By inking up the dots first and then stamping them on the background images you get added dimension to the dots.  It gives you so many more uses!  Imagine the same technique on the Marvelous Marigolds set!  It would be gorgeous!!   What is also great about this design is that you can use it for so many occasions and by changing up the colors can make it a great masculine card.  Change the sentiments and off you go!  No more struggling with a design.
Lots of Dots Celebration!
I hope you have enjoyed these cards!  There is still time to get these fabulous sets that are 10% off.  Go to my webstore today!  The special ends on July 31st at 11:59 pm EDT.
