Papercrafting - Chocolate Purses

Aren't these little purses ADORABLE!!!

These are so simple to make and are perfect for event favors.  I have a friend who is making these little cuties as wedding shower favors in the bride's colors.  Who would not love to get one of these?  You can also change them up to make them more masculine in the shape of a backpack or briefcase if you need to!

They are so quick to put together and a great way to use up all those pesky paper scraps we have lying around.  The only problem is insuring that you have enough chocolate to make them.  Those Hershey's nuggets are so yummy!  Another great point of these purses is that they can be changed up for any holiday or occasion!  Add small die cuts of baby rattles or booties for a baby shower.   The possibilities are endless!

Supplies required:
Chocolate Nuggets, Ribbon, Small Glue Dots, Adhesive, Gems or Pearls, Corner Rounder Punch, Colored Cardstock, Scoring board or tool.

Cut ribbon in 4 1/2" pieces to coordinate with the cardstock.  Cut cardstock to 4 1/2" x 1 1/2".  Cut another coordinating cardstock piece 1" x 1 1/2" (for the flap accent piece).  Score the long piece (front of cardstock facing up) at 1 1/4", 2 1/4", 3 1/2" and 3 3/4".   Fold on the score lines to form the purse.  Round the corners of the short size of the purse and do the same for the flap accent.  Using adhesive, attach the flap accent to the flap as depicted in the picture.  Attached the ribbon to the purse putting adhesive on the ribbon ends.  Place a glue dot on the bottom of each Chocolate Nugget and attach to the bottom of the purse.  Put a glue dot on the inside of each flap to close the purse.  Embellish the front of the flap as desired.

I hope you will make these adorable gifts for your next event!
